Since getting back from the Cotswold trip, I've had to go back to work as usual, but managed to still meet up with mom and dad after work as I did during their first week here.
Monday we met up in Piccadilly Circus, spent some time there before heading over to Cheers bar, on Regent Street. I've been wanting to go in there for ages, but just never got around to going inside. Stayed there for a couple of beers, and then headed (back) over to Waxys for a bite to eat.

Yesterday we tried going to the Queen Mary on the Thames, but unfortunately they were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which I didn't realise. So instead we tried the Argyll Arms, an 18th century, magnificently decorated pub just off Oxford Street. I've walked past there countless times, and never gone inside, so was good to actually see the inside of it. We had a couple of beers there, followed by something to eat.

Tonight we decided to see the Harrods lights at night, but apparently they've recently decided to turn their lights off at night after closing to help save the environment, so instead we got Harrods in darkness, which isn't nearly as amazing. However, their window displays are still impressive and walked around the store looking at those. I have found a picture of what Harrods should normally look like at night:
Tomorrow night I've got a work leaving party, and the folks are off to see 'We Will Rock You' show, so I'll meet up again with them on Friday evening, unfortunately their last full night in London. But anyway, until then...
