Been a fairly busy week since Monday - plenty to see and do. Unfortunately haven't been able to take too much time off work, so up until now only been meeting up in the evenings. This week's involved most of the sightseeing pubs around London, as well as the more touristy areas of London.

Monday night we spend in and around Soho, China Town and the west end. Tuesday night we met up at Liverpool Street for a couple of beers at Dirty Dicks - a historic city pub from the beginning of the 19th century which takes it name from the original Dirty Dick (Richard Bentley), who refused to clear up or clean anything after the death of his fiance. After Dirty Dicks, we walked over to Brick Lane for a good curry.

Last night involved a couple of beers and a bite to eat at Waxy's near Leicester Square - always a favourite. From there we went over to the gardens Covent Garden for a beer at The Porterhouse, another west end favourite pub! Then this evening was just a quick drink down at the Boathouse in Putney, one of the better local pubs in the area.

From tomorrow until Tuesday I have off, when we'll head down to the West Country, which I'm really looking forward to. Hopefully some more updates next week once we're back from the Cornwall/Devon trip.
