Clouds of smoke in the eyes, burnt fingers from the grill, the smell of steak sizzling away, and of course, the perfect taste of a cold beer going down. Nothing quite beats a decent barbecue braai.

I decided after two years of living in London and not owning a braai, it was time to invest in one. Got myself a 47cm Weber braai - perfect for our place - be it on the balcony, or the garden below. I've had it a week now, and in true London-summer style, the weather was miserable most nights last week, so the idea of getting the Weber fired up never materialized. Anyway, tonight's weather was good enough. With some steak, boerewors and potatoes on the grill, landed up having a good braai for dinner.

It's been a while, but at least I got one now. And hopefully, many more to come. Weather pending of course :)
