Up to Cambridge again today. Twice in almost as many weeks really. No formal ball or function today, just a day of sightseeing and punting down the river. Stacey was out from Australia for a while, and staying up in Cambridge for the weekend, so a few of us decided it would be worth spending the day up there. After scones breakfast at the Granchester Tea House (The Orchard), we headed over for a quick one at some pub enroute to Darwin College, from where we then went on to hire our punt for the afternoon.
Once Phil had got us going and some basic "training", I tried my hand at punting, and wasn't as difficult as I first thought it would be. After a couple of hours on the water, we returned, still dry - not having fallen it once which I thought was rather good.

We spent a while that afternoon walking around Cambridge as well as the looking in and around the various colleges, then hit Wagamamas for dinner, then the train back to London before it got too late. A day well spent, and can now stay I've tried my hand at punting down the Cam.
