Last Wednesday was Waitangi Day - the national day of New Zealand, and as a custom every year, all Kiwis living in London (and various other drunkards) decent upon the underground for the Circle Line Pub Crawl on the Saturday closest to the 6th of Feb, which happened to be today.

Waitangi Day in London

Since I'm using February to financially recover, from both my bike purchase as well as other pre-booked holidays, I didn't partake in the pub crawl but joined them later on this afternoon when they all got to Westminster. A big part of the day is at 4pm, when Big Ben strikes the hour, a large scale Haka is performed in front at Parliament Square.

Glad I managed to see this today, I remember hearing about it last year on the Monday and had missed out, and definitely wanted to catch it this year.
