Today I got myself a kick ass mountain bike, a Specialized Rockhopper Comp Disc. And it's awesome! :) Going back to that quote, I think that it sums up life in London perfectly, the only thing dull about London is probably the weather, but even that isn't too bad. And today I figured out a whole new side to London - the areas between stations which aren't underground!

I went out this afternoon for a few days, started off heading up my road in a general direction of Wimbledon and thought I'd see where the road takes me. After a while of random cycling, I ended up in Wimbledon Common which was great fun on a bike. Great little paths and tracks through the trees and past the ponds and up and down the hills.

So now I've got myself a new weekend hobby - London sightseeing on a bike. Can't wait 'til tomorrow where I get to head out a bit earlier and try see Richmond Park, which apparently is awesome. It's like a whole new London :)
