Quite the busy, sightseeing today. Considering I didn't really have many plans, it worked out to be a really cool day of seeing parts of London I haven't yet seen! :) Firstly, Keith and I started off at Wimbledon doing a tour of the tennis club. Really interesting to see the happenings behind the scenes. Unfortunately we couldn't see centre court as they're busy building the new roof, but got to see most of the other areas.

The above pictures (clockwise from top left) show the BBC press room, the outside courts, court number 1 and court number 2 (the graveyard court).
Straight after Wimbledon we headed across to Greenwich and took a walk up Greenwich park towards the Royal Observatory, where the meridian line is. We spent a while there having plenty of photos taken with us in the eastern hemisphere, then the western hemisphere, then one foot in each, etc. Small things I guess :)

While we were out in Greenwich, I had been wanting to see the Thames Barrier which was the flood control barrier for London, to prevent the Thames from flooding. Knowing the visitors centre would be closed, we decided to head over there anyway and check it out at night. A really awesome view at night, with London in the background.

I'm hoping to go back there maybe this coming weekend and actually go into the visitors centre - get an idea of the workings of the barrier and some history and info about it. But we'll see what the plan is for the weekend and what comes up. But first to get through the week...
