This last week's been a good tourist week for me. Pete and Andrea arrived in London last Friday, and they stayed over at my place Friday night after going out in Putney for a few catch up drinks. Saturday morning we left and headed down to Brighton to Haig's place for the night (they spent Sunday night there as well). Saturday was taken up in the afternoon at the marina and the night out in Brighton central. Sunday we walked around Brighton itself and of course, the pier.

Monday and Tuesday involved some of the tourist sights and pubs, like Waxys and Porterhouse. There was also a visit to Harrods, the Apple store and various others London must-see's. Last night we took a walk through Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland which was quite cool. Not quite as big as I expected, but still alright. They had some food stores, some rides, an outdoor ice rink, a ferris wheel and so on.

Didn't stay out too late last night as they had to be up at 04h15 to catch first train some time before 05h00 this morning... ouch. Anyway - was good seeing them again, and I think had a good few days in London and Brighton.
