Been down in Brighton/Hove this weekend for a break from London. Got the train down on Friday evening after work (and a customary after-work drink). From there I dropped my bags at Haig's place and headed for Brighton central for some drinking and some partying. After a few places, landed up at Honey Club which really wasn't that great - but overall was a good evening!

On Saturday was the World Beard And Moustache Championships. First time is was to be held in the UK and Brighton was the city to hold it. So we missioned off into town to watch the parade first and then got tickets to go into the judging and spent the rest of the day in there watching these crazy guys with the weirdest beards and moustaches I have ever seen... classic:

After that, we had a house party at Haig's place - with around 20 - 30 people there. Now it's not like a house where we have a back garden or plenty of place, its a smallish house which doesn't handle well to a lot of people. But it all worked out and we had a really good party - the mess the next day proved it :)

Sunday was just a chilled day, went down to the beach, got some food and did very little. The wind was stronger than the sun, so wasn't too pleasant to be on the beach - except when the wind stopped. But otherwise was a cool weekend away! :)
