Well our stupid flight's delayed tonight by an hour so here's a quick catch up of the past few days. Tom and I met up at Gatwick on Wednesday night, and our flight was delayed which meant we "had" to sit in the airport bar and have a few drinks. Not very impressed with BA at the moment!

On Wednesday we got into Glasgow around midnight and after a bus and cab into town got to our hotel around 00h30. Not much to do - dropped our bags and got some sleep. On Thursday, up early, into town for a good fry-up for breakfast. The weather was incredible, apparently that was one of the first days of summer that Scotland had. We landed up having breakfast and a few ciders in the sun, which turned into a few more and then landed up meeting some random Scotish guys who were also going to the RHCP concert - so that worked out well.

The concert was cool, with support acts from Reverend And The Makers and then Biffy Clyro. The Chili Peppers played a lot of their classics and singles and a few I wasn't too sure of. But for the most part of it, they rocked!

Yesterday we went across to Edinburgh for the day which was great 'cos the Fringe Festival is on at the moment - so Edinburgh was buzzing with people and street acts and shows and comedy events. Was brilliant. Had haggis for lunch which was good. Then we walked around the castle for a few hours before heading back to Glasgow.

Last night we met up with Karen with Lynn - who I know from my Spanish tour, they live in Glasgow. They recommended a club we go to (The Garage) which was an awesome club!! Stayed open 'til 3 and played such cool music. Would go back to Glasgow just for that :)

Today Tom and I went on a bus city sightseeing tour around Glasgow which was good. The sunny weather has gone (hopefully down to London) which meant our open bus tour was in the rain. I guess it is good for the hangover! :) So that's Scotland briefly seen - would like to come back at some point, spend a bit more time here next!
