Friday afternoon, and for a change it's actually not raining. I'm finding that strange after weeks of clouds and rain. So maybe summer might actually find us after all, even if it's just for the weekend and here's why:

Today's the start of the build up for the Tour de France. There's the opening ceremony this evening, then the time trials tomorrow, then the start of it on Sunday. The Wimbledon finals are this weekend, women's on Saturday and men on Sunday.

The huge Live Earth gig is on at Wembley on Saturday. The British Grand Prix is on this weekend - even though its not in London, its not very far from London I guess. There's also the 20/20 semi finals on at the Oval tonight, and the big Metallica concert at Wembley on Sunday.

Overall, London's the place to be this weekend. Out of all those I've mentioned, gonna be going to a fair amount - cricket, Live Earth, Metallica :) Should be a really good weekend!!
