Crazy how quickly time is going! We're in May already, which means I've almost been overseas for a whole year. May the 16th last year I left, well, left the first time. Not including my 3 weeks back in SA last month. But you get the point what I'm trying to say!

Last Thursday was cool - Gav's birthday. Met up with him and his mates in Camden and walked up to Chalk Farm to The Roundhouse - a music venue where we watch the John Butler Trio play. An Aussie group - so of course we were surrounded by Aussies, who loved to remind us of the cricket. But anyway - was a cool evening up there. I had to turn down the offer of going to Bar Rumba afterwards, a Drum 'n Bass in town. As cool as it would've been, not with my first week of work. Probably next time though...

Friday night was a chilled one at home, didnt feel like doing much - so took it easy. Saturday night was cool - went to a fancy dress party by Bank station! It was some charity event so we all got drunk to help the poor children somewhere in the world :) Either way it was fun! I got dressed up as a guy from the Running Of The Bulls (and drank plenty kalimotxo), and Tom went as Captain America, as you can see here:

The first half of Sunday was a slow day, and then met up with Tom by Green Park station to watch the beginning of the Gumball 3000 event - which is a massive race for charity across Europe to Asia and back. So got to watch some awesome cars with really hot women! :) It doesnt get better than that...

Hope you all have a wicked week! We'll catch up closer to the weekend...
