Greetings from SA :) I've now been back here for about 4 days and its been great. I can actually leave home in the evenings in just a T-Shirt... no worries about coats and scarves and layers.

The flights back here took longer than expected. We took off from Heathrow about an hour later than scheduled on Sunday night because the incoming plane only landed late. And then my second flight from Dubai left an hour late as well due to technical problems and a customer taken ill before we left. So that was annoying. After I arrived at Joburg, and got my bags, I was greeted by folks, brother and aunt. Needless to say, I was showered with hugs and hugs, and more hugs by a very happy family :) That evening we were just at home catching up with news and stories from the past 10 months.

Tuesday was Doorstock at The Doors - there were about 9 bands playing during the night - including Pestory! Greg, his buddies, Charisse, Kerrie and myself went up there a bit earlier for a few drinks, then got Fontana's (which I have been craving for a while now), then back to Doors to watch the other bands. It was ok - not the best night I've had there. Also it was way too busy, had to stand forever to get drinks, and most bars ran out of beer which was annoying. But otherwise was alright, and Pestroy were great live as usual.

Wednesday we had the family around here which was a great day sitting around in the sun, having a braai and drinking beer. I cant really complain about that :) Then last night was Greg's graduation at RAU (or UJ as its called). We went through there for that and then to dinner afterwards.

Today I'm just at home, still trying to sort out my bags and stuff - they're still just lying everywhere. Tonight, gonna head up to Stones in Edenvale with everyone else and see what its like up there. Should be good to see the others again! Well, that's about all for now... CYA
