Friday night I got home around 19h00, had a quick dinner and opened the Captain Morgans :) We had decided to try a new club by Oxford Circus called Strawberry Moons. After having a few drinks first at home, Tom and I missioned up into town, met up first with Chucky, and then Bianca, Tarryn and Luke who were already at the club. It was an ok club - nothing too great. The DJ was a bit useless - kept talking over the songs. But otherwise had a good time there and got home around 03h30!

Saturday we stayed in for most of the day. Haig came up from Worthing and Guy came over as well. The afternoon we landed up playing Xbox at home and then went up to Temple Walkabout that night. That was a good party with a good cover band, and of course Snakebites and Tequila :) We left Walkabout around 02h30, and eventually got to sleep about 04h30 or so!

Yesterday was the Chinese New Year, so was another excuse to go into town. We left around lunch time, walked around Trafalgar Square where all the festivities were happening, and then met the others in China Town at some bar. After a while, Tom and I decided we were bored of waiting around for the fireworks, so we thought we'd find some Chinese food for lunch - which was impossible without a half hour wait. So instead we went off to Shepherds Bush to eat at the Chinese buffet there.

By the time we got there, we changed our minds and had a Weatherspoon's beer-and-burger special. After feeling more awake, we went across to the Walkabout for yet another Walkabout evening. Half way through that, Steve phoned and mentioned he had spare tickets for a few bands playing just down the road. So we decided to finish our drinks and head off to Hammersmith.

Its called the Get Happy tour, and featured Wheatus, Son Of Dork as well as Bowling For Soup. That was a really cool concert - and BFS were really good live. And what made the evening that much better, was that everything was unexpected. Started off going to town for Chinese food, Chinese beer and fireworks, and landed up having a burger, a Fosters and watching some punk bands! Great way to end the weekend :)

Work today was awful... but at least that's Monday over with!
