Got back from Horsham this afternoon, after taking more than 2 hours to get home because of the engineering works on the train lines. After catching a few trains, a few busses, we made it home :)

Had a good Christmas down in Horsham. We got there on Sunday evening and went to Tom's brothers place before going out into town for something to eat. Landed up at a really good curry place which made some good food, and then met up with Tom's mates at a pub / bar called B52s.

On Sunday we went to his brother and sister-in-law's place for breakfast and then to his mom's place for Christmas lunch. We spent the day there with his mom, sister and brother and had a nice, big meal for lunch.

Yesterday we landed up sleeping until 14:00, and then went to the pub just down the road to watch the Football and get some lunch. Spent the rest of the evening in town meeting up with a few of Tom's mates.

And then took ages to get home this morning. At least our boiler was fixed. When we left for Horsham on Sunday, the boiler had been broken for a couple of days which meant we had no hot water or heating. But some guy had come to fix it as we were leaving so at least we had a warm house to come back to.

Next thing on the list is organising plans for new years eve.
