A few updates from the last week...

Friday's Christmas Party went well. It was just in Camden Town, so a few minutes walk from the office. The lunch and drinks went well - good food. As soon as the drinks bill ran out at the restaurant, we went over to the Hawley Arms - the regular Camden pub. That was good fun - we stayed there most of the evening. Charz came through for a while, and we decided on going to Sports Cafe by Piccadilly Circus, which is a cool pub with dance floor - and stays open til 4am. But after getting Burger King on the way, we decided to rather catch the last train home and leave it for another night!

Saturday I slept in and got over Friday nights party. Spent most of the day in and around the house, then headed up into town to the Hammersmith Apollo to watch Lost Prophets play live! Again, only had seating tickets but the whole performace was awesome - especially the lighting and effects on stage. Would definitely see them play again. On Sunday we tried going ice-skating at Tower Hill ice rink again, but was fully booked the whole day so gave up on that idea. Instead we went to Queensway and played Tenpin Bowling. Tom, Guy and myself beat the girls (Charz, Janet and Kate) so now they owe us all a dinner :) That evening, Tom, Guy and myself went to watch Jimmy Carr live, at the Hammersmith Apollo, again. Probably the funniest three hours of my life - absolutely brilliant - comical genious. If you ever get a chance to see him live - do it, he's brilliant. So that was the weekend well spent!

Monday I took the day off work, Tuesday walked around Camden, Soho and Oxford Steet in the evening, but the wind was rather nasty so didnt stay long. Wednesday we had our "tree decorating" in the evening. Basically just had everyone around at our house and put up the decorations on the tree - looks really good, especially with the Xmas lights on :) Last night, Guy, Janet, Charz and myself managed (after two previous attempts) to go ice skating. This time we went to the Canary Wharf ice rink. Other than the ice been too wet and rather crowded, had a good evening there - starting to get better at ice skating... gotta practice for skiing in January :)

Got a nice short day at work today! We off to lunch at 12:30, then have a retrospective meeting after lunch, then off for work drinks across the road. That should turn out well. Then of course its the weekend again! Have a good one everyone...
