Monday morning... a few coffee's down, still not quite awake. Good times.
On Friday, Charmaine - that's Janet's friend from SA - arrived so seemed like a good reason to go out partying. We went into Wimbledon for dinner - to some crazy pizza place where the waiters were mad, and loved trying to get everyone to do the Macarena. Interesting. Spent a while there and then headed to the Walkabout just up the road for an hour or so until they closed. I didnt feel like going home - was only midnight - so we tried another club, Watershed, also in Wimbledon. That was cool, they played a lot of the old, classic party songs. Good fun. Left there around 3ish.
Saturday we were all up early, after a few hours sleep, and went up into London central to the Tate Modern - which is a museum of art or something. They've got an expo on with massive slides that you can go down - about 6 or seven stories high. Seemed like something cool to do. With it so busy, could only get a booking for 17:00 that afternoon, but I couldnt make it then. The others booked for then. Otherwise we walked around town as well as down Oxford Street which was packed with hundreds of people doing Xmas shopping. Was very festive - plenty of people!
That evening went through to Astoria to watch New Found Glory play. With a stupid mix up of tickets, landed up having to go back home then back through so missed some of the show but was good nonetheless.

From there headed off to Temple Walkabout for Kate's birthday bash. That was good fun - as Walkabouts usually are. Had a live band and good music. Finished up around half 2 when the bar closed and then caught the night bus home which took almost two hours - getting home around 5! Thats always fun :)
Sunday, after very little sleep, I went up to Belsize Park and met up with Rene and Stu for lunch at the pub where Rene works. Hadnt seen them in a while so was good to catch up. And the food there was awesome! Then went down to Leicester Square / Covent Gardens and met up with Janet, Charmaine and Guy and went to the Walkabout and Porterhouse where Tom, Justin, Si, Sam, etc were watching the rugby. Had a few pints before heading home!
Watched Zoolander last night - always a classic. Then Tom kicked my ass (again) at Xbox. Im convinced one day I'll beat him at something. But until then, I'll try hold my pride, and dignity, and not throw the controls around the room! Or at Tom.
I guess I should get around to doing some work this morning... but first another up of coffee :)
