On Friday, finished work promptly, headed home, had a few beers there with the others and then went out to the Walkabout in Wimbledon. A bit smaller than the Shepherds Bush one I'm used to - but a good party as the Walkabout always is! Met up with Haig a bit later who was up for the weekend from Worthing.
On Saturday I went shopping. Needed stuff for my room - and a lot of stuff. Like pillows, sheets, duvet, covers, dustbin, laundry basket, clothes horse, speakers for my iPod, as well as food and a toaster, etc. Plenty. Spent way too much but sorted now. The afternoon we went back to the Wimbledon Walkabout to watch the rugby game - could've been a whole lot better than seeing Ireland whip SA by 32 points to 15. Not a great game. The Wimbledon Walkabout is mainly inhabited by South Africans, so the atmosphere wasn't very high at all. Oh well. Next week is against England at Twickenham... should be better we hope.
Saturday evening went up to Kilburn, north London with Carol and Paul and everyone else - for Paul's birthday. Landed up seeing Ryan there as well, who happens to know Simon who knows Carol. Was just weird what a small world it is. Getting home was painful - this time is wasn't even my fault or the beer's fault. I left in time to catch last tube home and was advised to take the Thames Link home - cos its a lot faster and more direct. After getting to the station and waiting half an hour, I realized the Wimbledon service either isn't running or not in service (which it should be) - so caught the next train to London Bridge, then a few night buses and eventually got home. Took three hours to get home, and in the *freezing* cold. By cold, I mean the ridiculously cold wind. Good times! :) But slept in on Sunday until lunch time - so that made up for it!
Last night a few of Tom and Janet's friends came over for dinner. They live just up the road and apparently generally at our place and we at theirs. So that was cool. Tom ordered a TV last week - a kickass 29" flat screen TV which arrived sometime today. So I'm off home now to go check that out. Pretty damn exciting.

The first picture above shows the lounge area, and that was taken from the dining room. The second one shows my bedroom which is upstairs, together with the other two rooms. The bottom two show pictures from the outside, the first one of just our house and the other photo of the houses in our street. Otherwise, thats all for now, cheers!
