Last night I went to the Brixton Academy to go watch the band Panic! At The Disco... an upcoming alternative rock band from Las Vegas. I have their one and only CD, which is ok, so I didnt really expect much from them, but was really really impressed with their show. Unfortunately we only had sitting tickets 'cos we only organised them on Friday, so we didnt manage to get into the standing area and jump around like idiots with thousands of twelve year olds - cos thats mainly who was in the standing sections. Us older kids had to sit at the top and watch, and then they didnt want to sell us beer - we needed to show a UK driving license or passport before we were allowed to buy beer. And none of us carry our passports on us, especially not to watch a band. But we managed to persuade and convince them and we soon got our beer. Nice.
