To sum up the past weekend - awesome! :) Had one of the better party weekends here in London - kick ass! We had it mostly planned out - Haig was coming up for Friday and Saturday night and Will, a Contiki buddy from Oz, was staying Saturday and Sunday night. Nice.

On Friday, Haig and I started off with dinner at Nandos, yes, they do have Nandos here and it tastes oh so good... mmm, peri peri chicken burgers... then from there we went out to Brick Lane and met up with Gav and Fran. We had a few beers there and went to a Drum 'n Bass club for a couple of hours - until it closed at midnight which was crap - but we landed up missioning around the area looking for pubs and stayed on til some crazy hours, from where we made our way home. I don't think I'll be drinking Magners (apple cider) for a while... everything went apple pear shaped... hahaha... get it... apple / pear. Oh nevermind. So that was Friday night, apparently.

Saturday we stayed in for most of the morning, nurturing our hangover doing nothing really. Will arrived here from Wales sometime in the afternoon. I met Will on my Spanish Contiki - he was just passing through London over the weekend so thought we should have a big one on Saturday night :) We had planned on going to the club 'Carwash' which is apparently quite cool - very funky, retro, 70s, etc. So we began at Wetherspoons for dinner first - burger and beer special. Then headed out to London east, where a lot of the mainstream clubs are. Carwash was looking like an older crowd and most people were dressed up to the max - so we decided on Fabric which was nearby. Enjoyed it a lot the last time so thought we'd try again. And it lived up to expectations - a crazy night of London clubbing. Got in about 08:00 on Sunday morning. Wicked :)

Sunday was recreationally spent sleeping and trying to feel normal again. By the time we woke up, it was too late to head to the club 'Church' which is only in the afternoon, so we headed out to get KFC and then to the Walkabout for a beer. Only one really. And then we saw how busy it was and how good the music was... so one beer turned into two, then three, etc. Stayed there for a few hours having a good party, until 23:00 when it closed.

So was a good weekend - plenty of partying, plenty of take aways, plenty of drinks, plenty of spending - all the elements to make up a weekend. Nothing much planned for this week - playing soccer tomorrow night again. The German Oktoberfest is coming to an end this weekend, would love to go through to Munich for the closing party but gonna work out fairly expensive, and considering I cant take much leave. Oh well. We'll see what happens, otherwise there's always next year. Hold thumbs (or offer to buy me a plane ticket there). There's no harm in asking is there :)
