I had an appointment at Barclays bank today at 14:00 to sort my account out. All went well, got my account sorted so just waiting for them to post my card to me. So our sightseeing could only start later on today. Oh well.

Went to go have a look at Westminster Abby which we didn't get a chance yesterday to do. Didn't go inside, I think you see enough Cathedrals on Contiki so just saw if from the outside. From there we took a walk past Downing Street which, as expected, is heavily fenced off for security. Not that exciting but at least I can say been there, done that.

Not such a far walk was Buckingham Palace. A nice walk through the palace gardens took us up to Buckingham Palace. This was sometime in the afternoon and the changing of the guards is at 11:30 each day so thought we'd leave that until tomorrow to go look at. But just took a few pictures and walked around the front of the palace a bit.

That night went to Leicester Square for a buffet dinner with real food like potatoes, chicken, mushrooms, vegetables, beer, etc. And yes, beer does count as proper food. Instead of heading home, we went to take a walk around Big Ben and Houses of Parliament at night and then to Tower Bridge and London Bridge.

Tower Bridge Night

They have everything so well lit up at night so decided had to see all the sights at night as well. Most of them make really nice night time viewing.
